Santo Niño is blessed with many resources. Just about everything a student needs to learn and grow in our environment is provided in-house. Consider bus transportation and extended hour care to accomodate your busy schedule. Consider extracurricular activities in choir, music, or athletics to discover your child's talents. It's all here for you to discover.
Another hallmark you can expect to see embodied in our students is the care for each other. Our students participate in mass weeky at the adjoining Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church. The entire student body is present, arrayed in the beautiful church by class. The short walk to and from the church is a sight to behold. 5th an 6th grade students hold the hands of the PreKindergarten and Kindergarten students helping teachers safely shepherd the little ones. We've all seen children squirm at church or forget where they are but at this mass, we see very little of that with our students present.
This is Santo Niño. It is one of a few regional Catholic schools in the country. As such, it serves the eight parishes of the greater Santa Fe area, including Pecos. Santo Niño is supported by these eight parishes so we encourage our parents to support our parishes with their time, talent, and treasure. We trust that what we encourage at Santo Niño is evident at the parishes we serve.
Santo Niño is a feeder school with distinction for St. Michael's High School, an athletic and academic powerhouse in the state. St. Michael's teachers readily recognize Santo Niño graduates because of their exemplary achievement from the time they arrive as 7th grade students to the time they graduate from St. Michael's. We know the benefits of Santo Niño are evident at St. Michael's and beyond.
